Notification from Beijing Local Taxation Bureau regarding hiring disabled as employees or paying the disabled career funds for the year 2007 Notice: 11 October Notice period: 2 weeks All companies should declare the employment situation of hiring disables employees to the related organizations. Situation A If the companies hired disables in 2006, they have to submit the following documents: 1: Disable employees’ registration forms; 2: Salary sheets for disable employees for June and December of the year 2006; 3: All certificates and supporting documents for social insurances and benefit for disable employees Situation B If it is the first time for the companies to hire disables for the year 2007, they also have to submit 1: Photocopy of disable staff’s ID card his work permit as disables (both sides) (from disable staff); 2: Original and photocopy of work permit as disables (from disable staff); 3: Employment contract with disables (from company) If the companies hire required disables, they won’t have the liability to pay the disables career funds. If not, they have to pay for the funds. The formula for the funds payable of 2007 is stated as follow: Disables career funds = RMB 19,684 * (the normal staff number in 2006 *1.7% – the disable staff number) ------ EWPR will pay RMB 669 for the funds Notes: RMB 19,684 is 60% of Average annual salary (RMB 32,808) of Beijing employees in the year 2005. Payment methods: Pay directly to the bank, with the printed , which could be got from local taxation bureau Penalty: 0.5% on the payable amounts as daily penalty
