The anticipation now is really building up - Morgan Motors have made a two tone Plus 8 and a liquid silver colour Aero Coupe specifically for the Luxury Beijing show at which we will exhibit. This is the first time that Morgan cars have ever been on display in China. The booth is under construction by AnySCALE architects and D&T Exhibition contractors. The British Ambassador, Sebastian Wood, has confirmed that he will attend on the opening day, the 8th June; which is also Father's Day in China therefore I will take Amity with me to the launch. Our WOFE is not yet approved and the import permit which is issued for that WOFE is therefore still outstanding; the combined effects of which mean that this show will hopefully illicit interest and any potential buyers will have to be handled with care as their precious purchases will take several months be both made and imported to China. The strategy of getting cars into China has been my most expensive yet, and in two weeks we shall see if this marketing event pays dividends. Seeing these two fabulous cars gives me great confidence, along with anticipation and anxiety about all the work still to be done before a Chinese can drive a Morgan on the streets of Beijing.
