Which is the best podcast guest matching site in the world?

A list of the top directories to find podcast hosts.

As part my research for the Podcast Guest Blueprint course, and as a host of The UnNoticed Entrepreneur podcast, I've come across a growing number of podcast guest matching sites. I thought it would be good to collate them into one list to save you the work. These are all listed in the course, but it seems a shame to keep them locked away.

As they each are slightly different, I listed them alphabetically to be fair.  If you can - get a free listing on them all and then see which ones yield the best results over 6 months.

There is bound to be overlap on the show side of course, with hosts in some or all directories. You can always rely on Listennotes and Linkedin for show prospecting, but if you're going to get serious then you will want to consider one of these sites.

Which one is best? It depends entirely on your budget, your time, and your desire to appear on podcasts. They all do their job, some with more limited cost and more limited functionality, but they will all help you to get onto podcasts.

Guestio.com

  - Offer: Guestio is a booking platform for podcast guests and hosts. It focuses on providing high-quality, notable guests, and streamlines the booking process. Users can browse guest profiles and use the platform to manage bookings and communications.

  - Pricing: Guestio operates on a tiered pricing model. The basic plan is free, offering limited features. The premium plans, which include additional features like unlimited booking requests and featured listings, vary in price.

Matchmaker.fm

Padverb.com

  - Offer: Podverb is not as widely known as the other platforms and may offer similar services for connecting podcast hosts and guests. However, specific details about its offerings are less readily available.

  - Pricing: The pricing for Podverb, if available, is not widely publicised and would require further investigation for current details.

Podmatch.com

PodcastGuests.com

  - Pricing: There's a free subscription option that includes basic access to the newsletter and guest directory. Paid subscription tiers offer additional benefits like featured listings, priority access to guest opportunities, and the ability to directly contact guests.

 Podcast Hawk

Offer: Podcast Hawk is a service that automates the process of finding podcasts for guest appearances, useful for individuals looking to promote themselves or their business.

- Pricing: $59 per month for 2-3 bookings with upgrades for more bookings.

- Offer: Rephonic's mission is to be the independent, reliable source of truth for all kinds of data in the podcast industry.
- Pricing: $99/mo for lite version

- Offer: Respona is a site which helps to develop backlinks, but also has an innovate podcast matching feature; it searches shows which have guests which are similar to your profile.
- Pricing: $399/mo as this is a full link building suite

These summaries provide a general overview of each service. For the most current and detailed information, especially regarding pricing, it's advisable to visit the respective websites or contact the service providers directly.

These services will all help you to find and to pitch podcast hosts like me. In my course I include these, but also the work that needs to be done before the pitch on the personal brand kit, developing your story, interview techniques, technical set up, and also how to use AI to repurpose the show.I also include a tutorial filmed by my virtual assistant in the Philippines as she shows how she tracks down and pitches podcast hosts on LinkedIn.

There are many ways to find your way onto a podcast, but remember that you need to take something with you for the audience; which is why I include a chapter on making an offer.

Check out these directory sites, they are a great place to start your search for podcasts and some include communities too.
