Great British Brands Festival held in Beijing, I had the good fortune to welcome Boris Johnson onto our Morgan stand. He was v. pleasant and we made a photo opportunity. The encounter then appeared on Chinese TV and the BBC, but also interviews were held with Sky and Beijing BTV. Slowly but surely we are getting the Morgan brand into the market. This is a long and at times tiring journey. In a population of some 1.4bn we have to find 45 who want and can afford to buy a classic British sports car. During the week we gave away 2,000 picture cards. only another 1bn or so to go...and another few British VIP's will certainly help.
